Working out the sale price

A percentage discount is subtracted from the original price: a 25% discount means you pay 75% of the price. This tool shows both the amount you save and the final price, so you can check a sticker claim at a glance.

Stacked and successive discounts

Two discounts do not simply add up. A 20% discount followed by an extra 10% is not 30% off — the second cut applies to the already-reduced price, giving an effective 28% off. For multiple discounts applied in sequence, the Stacked Discount Calculator works out the true combined rate.
